By downloading, installing, or using StopMe ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
StopMe offers auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime purchase option, billed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
The Lifetime plan grants access to all current and future StopMe features for the lifetime of the product. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the App, not the purchaser. In the unlikely event that StopMe is permanently discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice.
If you reinstall StopMe or switch devices, you can restore your purchases through the App's Settings screen. Your subscription status is tied to your Apple Account and will transfer automatically.
You retain full ownership of all content you create within StopMe, including photos, videos, and voice recordings. This content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers (except Community Voices submissions, which are anonymous).
By submitting content to Community Voices, you grant StopMe a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to distribute that anonymous recording to other users of the App.
You agree not to:
StopMe is a wellness tool, not a medical device or treatment. The App is designed to support your personal goals around quitting addictive habits. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or treatment.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Results depend on individual effort and circumstances. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services or call/text 988 (US).
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StopMe and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for StopMe in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or on our website. Continued use of StopMe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
