Privacy Policy

StopMe keeps the thing it knows most about you — which sites and apps you chose to block — on your iPhone, and not because we promise to look away. We are never given it.

What never leaves your iPhone

When you choose apps to block, iOS hands StopMe anonymous tokens rather than names. Those tokens are meaningless outside your device and are never transmitted. There is no account, no sign-in, no partner, no accountability contact and no report of your activity to anyone, including us.

The apps and sites you block, and when you block or unblock them.
Your 24-hour removal timer and its state.
Every setting you choose inside the app.

None of the above is uploaded, shared, or sold. It is not part of any advertising or tracking system, and no StopMe server receives it.

The three things we do receive

These are the only categories StopMe collects, and they match the privacy manifest shipped inside the app:

Purchase history — whether a subscription or trial is active, so the app can unlock. Handled by Apple and by our subscription provider, RevenueCat.
Product interaction — anonymous counts such as which setup screen was reached, used only to find where the app is failing people.
Advertising data — Apple's own attribution token, which tells us an install came from an ad campaign. It does not identify you.

All three are not linked to your identity and are not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Screen Time

StopMe applies your blocks using Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) on your own device, with your permission, for your own device only. It is never used to supervise anyone else. Apple does not give us your browsing history and we do not request it.

Children

StopMe is for adults managing their own device. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Your control

Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device by it. Your subscription is managed in your Apple Account settings. For any privacy question or request, email stopmebutton@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
